Ms. Monique Ashton is mayor of the City of Rockville. Since 2006, she has served as Executive Vice President, Feinstein Kean Healthcare, DC, an Ogilvy Company. She previously served as Public Health and Science Communication Advisor in the Office of Minority Health, US Department of Health and Human Services. (USHHS) From 2002-2004, Monique was a Presidential Management Fellow at USHHS. Monique holds a Masters degree in Public Health from George Washington University, and she received a BA degree in Arts with a major in Public Health Education and Policy from New York University. As a key leader in the Montgomery County Municipal Association, Monique helped negotiate Tax Duplication Relief in 2022 that brings significant financial benefits to 21 municipalities.
