Reasonable Suspicion - Training Request

Supervisors play a key role in maintaining a drug-free workplace.  They are in position to recognize possible substance abuse indicators including: changes in an employee’s performance, physical appearance, behavior and speech.  Addressing drug abuse and alcohol misuse in the workplace should be a priority for supervisors and all employees. This seminar was designed by STA United, Inc., a firm specializing in drug and alcohol training.  The seminar will feature a video presentation and a handbook, “Helping Supervisors Recognize Substance Abuse” will be distributed.  Sample forms will be provided with additional information concerning how to conduct a reasonable suspicion determination and evaluation should be made.  Completion of this program fulfills DOT requirements for supervisor training.
